Schedules in Home Remote work via local notifications. Home Remote will need to be open, and the iOS device on for schedules to work. This is a iOS limitation. Schedules can be offloaded to the OS X version of Home Remote - Activator. The Mac that Home Remote - Activator is running on will also be required to be on for schedules to run. When using sunrise or sunset options, you will need to grant Home Remote access to your location.
Date and Time
Schedules require a date and a time to run, which you can define by tapping the input field. On the subsequent screens there will be 3 options: Time, sunrise or sunset.
Schedules can be set to not repeat (none), or be every minute, hour, day, week or month. If you have a repeat value set, and have sunrise or sunset selected for Date and Time then the sunrise and set values will be updated daily for your current location.
As the iOS version of Home Remote needs to be active and in the foreground for schedules to work, you can choose to offload the schedule to the OS X version of Home Remote - Activator. The Mac that Home Remote - Activator is running on will also be required to be on for schedules to run.
