This action allows you to send TCP or UDP hex data to a specified address or port. This will allow control of many lighting systems not directly supported by Home Remote, along with older Milight equipment, all you need is the UDP or TCP API. Another use is for RS232 control.
The IP Address of the device you want to control.
The port number that the device is listening on.
Either TCP or UDP, the value will depend on the hardware you are trying to control.
You will not need to enter 0x before every command, although you can if you wish.
