If no WeMo devices have previously been discovered, then Home Remote will search the network for any. WeMo devices can be temperamental to respond, so if a device is not showing but you know it should be, you will need to refresh the values in Home Remote with the refresh button.
Any connected switch, light or lights witch that the app discovers will be shown here. Selecting a device will populate the IP Address and Port fields with the automatically discovered values.
If your device is not responding to search then you can manually enter the address in the IP Address field.
If your device is not responding to search then you can manually enter the port number in the Port field.
On, Off or Toggle
Brightness is not supported for WeMo devices in Home Remote, only the status On, Off or Toggle. WeMo devices will provide feedback on the Today Screen in terms of green or red indicator icons, reflecting the status of the device.
